Stevie Wonder has been blind since he was a new born baby, he was born too soon, with complications. This has never stopped him from going after his dreams. He overcame his disability to learn how to play many instruments, and it has never slowed him down. Stevie also lost his sense of smell when he was much older. he was in a car accident. A tree fell on his car when he was on his way to sing. He was knocked out and was in a coma. Though he fully recovered he has not been able to smell anything since the car accident.

Stevie wonder was voted into the music hall of fame in 1989. This is a very special honor for a musician. This means that he is considered one of the best musicians ever! He has also won 25 grammy awards. These awards are given out every year for different reasons. Somtimes they are given out for the best song of the year and somtimes they are given out for best album of the year, and many other awards are given out as well. Stevie Wonder was also on American Idol! He sang a song for the contestants and the audience.
