Role of Women...

Girls did not need the same education as boys. Girls from wealthy families needed to know how to read, write, and do math well enough to manage a household. High class girls also had to learn how to sing, play an instrument, sew and dance. Poor girls needed no education; they either married or worked as servants.

Women inferior to men. Only job unique to women were to spin wool. Unlike men, women were not allowed to be artists or intellectuals. Medieval women had more value and freedoms than the Renaissance woman
