Saturn:
(Say it in French! Saturne)
Known for its rings, Saturn is the sixth planet from the sun and has a diameter of 74,900 miles. It is about 887 million miles from the sun. Although Jupiter has a ring, Saturn’s rings are the most famous because they are so wide and so bright that even with a small telescope they can be seen from Earth. Saturn has 18 named moons, but because of the rings, and debris that is in them, there could be more. It takes about 10 Earth hours for one Saturn day to pass, and a year is a little more than 29 Earth years.
